7 Bible Verses to Refresh Your Walk

Updated: Jan 19, 2023

In this walk of life we sometimes have a need to rest, recuperate, and be refreshed so that we can begin the next season. Often we need to be reminded that what we have endured has created an opportunity for growth and maturity in our lives. This is also the time when we need to meditate on God's word so that we can be restored and receive strength and encouragement for the new journey upon which we are about to embark. God's word is a refuge for us when we need to prepare for the new place in our lives. Here are a few scriptures to help during those times:

1. "Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord." (Acts 3:19)

2. "He restoreth my soul. He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake."

(Psalms 23:3)

3. “For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish.” (Jeremiah 31:25)

4. "But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint." (Isaiah 40:31)

5. “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God; I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.” (Isaiah 41:10)

6. “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope.” (Jeremiah 29:11)

7. “For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants.” (Isaiah 44:3)

Take the time to meditate on these passages of scripture to help you receive the fresh Wind of the Holy Spirit to lead, guide, and build your faith in God. Allow your spirit to be renewed and prepare your heart to receive His Grace in the time of need!
